Signing up for a Fundbox account is free. Users can just log in to their account to use the app, choose among the unpaid invoices listed in the dashboard, then transfer the amount to their bank account. Once the amount is transferred, business owners can now use the money to settle their bills. Repayment of cleared invoices can be made within 90 days for a small fee. Users who repay early can even earn rewards.

The add-on is currently available for US customers with a Xero account who have a minimum of six months of accounting data.
